Financial Projections
- Spot prices used for estimated current and future Bitcoin revenues can be seen in the below table.
- Year 1, Month 1 of estimated mining revenues and Bitcoin is May of 2022.
- The financial projections are broken into calendar years and cover a 60-month period beginning in May of 2022 and ending in April of 2027.
- Estimated mining outputs and returns are adjusted in half beginning in May of 2024, the estimated time of the next “halving” event in Bitcoin mining.
- Miners used in the forecast are the BITMIN S19J 100 TH/s ANTMINER models.
- Electricity is calculated at $0.065/kWh or $46,800 per mining container per month – and remains the same during the projections as the cost is fixed during the hosting contract.
- The financial projections assume that to pay for electricity costs, some of the bitcoin mined each month is sold, so there is only one initial cash outlay at the beginning of the project.
- The estimated remaining bitcoin produced that is left after paying for power is assumed to be HODL’d for the long term.
- Depreciation is being run at 100% to take advantage of the final year of the 100% Unlimited Bonus Depreciation available per the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.
